The National Brewery Centre
The site of Burton's leading tourist attraction, the world-class museum and visitor centre that celebrates Burton upon Trent's proud brewing heritage. The National Brewery Centre opened its doors to the public on May 1st 2010. This link takes you to the temporary NBC site while their new site is prepared for release.
The Brewhouse
Burton's premier arts venue is housed in a converted brewery building which used to house Bass's famous union system. The brewhouse was fully refurbished after a fire gutted the ground floor on 9th August 2006.

A site set up to record and promote happenings in Burton past and present, and obviously a labour of love for it's authour. Includes town history and pics, news, and detail on places of interest to visit, etc.

Burton is the biggest town in the new National Forest. This site has all the information on the scheme.
Sprit Games
Burton-on-Trent based games shop, offering an extensive range of games from Role Playing Games and Wargames to Card Games, Board Games, Chess, Mah Jong and lots more. Established 1984. Spirit Games also hosts a Beer & Pretzels Games Weekend in the Town Hall once a year.

Pub and Beer Guide for the Midlands
An almost exhaustive guide to pubs in the Midlands, with a page on virtually every town and village in the Midlands, plus articles, features, and too many other features to mention here. However this site would seem to be undergoing a revamp and much of the information that was available is now missing. Hopefully this is only temporary and if the updating continues and the information returned, this site has the potential to be an excellent resource.
Bass Ale / InBev U.K.
Probably Burton's most famous export, after the acquisition of Bass by Coors Brewers. The brewing of Bass Ale is now done at Marston's for InBev UK who hold the licence to brew Bass Ale. The Bass Ale link to now seems to be a U.S site dedicated to a Bass Black & Tan.
Michael Jackson - the Beer Hunter
Famous for his many publications and for his 1989/90 TV series, The Beer Hunter. Jackson's site contains a wealth of material on brewing and beer-related topics from around the world, including a great article entitled "Burton Union gives Marstons its Pedigree" about Burton, Marston's and the Burton Union system. Sadly on August 30th 2007 Michael Died age 65. There is a blog site in memoriam to the life of this great writer at blogspot .com

Society of Independent Brewers
Formed in 1980 as the Small Independent Brewers’ Association, to represent the interests of the emerging new wave of microbrewers.
With growing credibility and campaigning success, SIBA has come to represent the broad spectrum of the independent brewing sector. There is no longer a ceiling on membership and the Society of Independent Brewers – renamed in 1995 – is now one of the most authoritative and respected bodies in the brewing industry.
Arctic Alchemy
Chris Bowen's Journey with 3 Motorcycles over 2000 Miles for 1 Beer - In August of 2007 a bottle of Allsopp’s Arctic Ale was auctioned off, and although Chris didn’t participate in the bidding, he became fascinated by the story surrounding this bottle of beer brewed in 1852 and its highly unique history. When the bidding was over, this bottle reportedly sold for over $500,000, and while the sale was never completed, the mystery of its origins became all that more intriguing to Chris. The is his journey on the "Discoveries of the Red Hand".
