Here are some directions to get to the venue for this year's Burton Beer Festival...

Burton Town Hall
King Edward Place, Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire
 
From the North West (M6) & Stoke (A50)
Leave the M6 at Junction 15 (Stoke-On-Trent). Follow the signs for A50 Uttoxeter and stay on the A50 all the way until it's junction with the A38 (Derby). Turn right onto the A38 and take the first exit for Burton (North) onto the A1521 (Derby Road).

Continue along this road, past the Pirelli plant, and go straight on through the next two roundabouts, until you come to a one-way system with 'Kwik Save' on your left. Get into the right hand lane and follow the road round to the right into Borough Road.

The Town Hall is right in front of you, but you have to follow the one-way system to access at the rear. Turn right at the traffic lights into Wellington Street, take the next left into Byrkley Street, then left again into Rangemore Street. The next left is King Edward Place, with the Town Hall on your left.
 
From the South (M1) & Ashby (A511)
From the M1, exit at Junction 22 (signposted Coalville, Ashby, Burton) and stay on the A511 You stay on this road for approximately 17 miles, by-passing Coalville and going through Ashby-De-La-Zouch, then Woodville and Midway (Mind the speed cameras!)

When you enter Burton, get into the right hand lane at the bottom of Ashby Road (A511) going straight over the traffic lights and across the Trent Bridge. Staying in the right hand lane, go straight on through both sets of lights at the end of the Bridge, into Horninglow Street, straight on again at the next lights (next to the newly built Magistrates Courts).

Go past the Bass Brewery through another set of lights, and you come to a roundabout. Turn left into Derby Street.

Continue along this road until you come to a one-way system with 'Kwik Save' on your left. Get into the right hand lane and follow the road round to the right into Borough Road.

The Town Hall is right in front of you, but you have to follow the one-way system to access at the rear. Turn right at the traffic lights into Wellington Street, take the next left into Byrkley Street, then left again into Rangemore Street. The next left is King Edward Place, with the Town Hall on your left.
From Birmingham South (M42) & the South West (M5)
Leave the M42 at it's last exit, Junction 11 (just past Tamworth) and go onto the A444 (signposted Burton). Stay on this road through Overseal and Castle Gresley until you get to Burton.

Go past the Black Horse and Copper Hearth pubs, go straight over a mini-roundabout and you will come to a large roundabout with St. Peters Bridge straight in front of you.

Go across the bridge, go straight on at the next roundabout and then bear left at the second roundabout into Evershed Way. Go straight on at the lights, past the old brewery on your left, straight across the next roundabout and over the railway flyover.

Turn right at the next roundabout into Wellington Street. After 200 yards you will see the Town Hall on your left, but you have to follow the one way system to access at the rear.Turn right at the traffic lights into Wellington Street, take the next left into Byrkley Street, then left again into Rangemore Street. The next left is King Edward Place, with the Town Hall on your left.
 
From the North (M1) & Derby (A38)
Leave the M1 at Junction 28 and proceed through Derby on the A38. Approx. 10 miles from Derby, take the first exit for Burton (North) onto the A1521 (Derby Road).

Continue along this road, past the Pirelli plant, and go straight on through the next two roundabouts, until you come to a one-way system with 'Kwik Save' on your left. Get into the right hand lane and follow the road round to the right into Borough Road.

From the Railway Station
Turn left out of the station and walk down Borough Road. You will see the Town Hall directly in front of you 200 yards.
